On March 9, 2001, Ray Benning, Director, Airline Division, International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), addressed a letter to the National Mediation Board (NMB), stating "On behalf of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), please be advised that the IBT disavows its representational rights in the above referenced case[] at Challenge Air Cargo, effective immediately."

On the basis of the above disclaimer, the NMB hereby revokes, effective March 30, 2001, the certification issued to the IBT in NMB Case No. R-6553.
