27 NMB No. 81

CASE NO. R-6749

(File No. CR-6686)

DISMISSAL-

WITHDRAWN DURING

INVESTIGATION

June 15, 2000

The services of the National Mediation Board (NMB) were invoked by the District 2A, Transportation Technical, Warehouse, Industrial and Service Employees Union (Organization or District 2A) on April 25, 2000, to investigate and determine who may represent for the purposes of the Railway Labor Act, as provided by Section 2, Ninth, thereof, personnel described as "Ramp Agents," employees of Aircraft Service International Group.

The Board assigned Investigator Mary L. Johnson to investigate.

Subsequently, the Organization filed a letter with the NMB which stated, "Please be advised that District 2A hereby withdraws its Petition seeking representation of the Aircraft Service International group (ASIG) ramp agents before your agency."

On the basis of this letter of withdrawal referred to above, File No. CR-6686 is converted to NMB Case No. R-6749 and the Board hereby dismisses the application and closes its file in this matter.

By direction of the NATIONAL MEDIATION BOARD.
