On December 29, 1997, L.A. Parmelee, President of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers-American Train Dispatchers Department (BLE-ATDD), sent a letter to the Board stating that the BLE-ATDD "relinquishes its certification for all employees of the Fort Smith Railroad." Board records confirm that BLE-ATDD is the representative of the crafts or classes of Engineers, Conductors/Brakemen, and Carmen on Fort Smith Railroad Company pursuant to Board certifications in NMB Case Nos. R-6290, R-6291 and R-6293, respectively.
On the basis of the above disclaimer, the National Mediation Board hereby revokes, effective this date, the certifications issued to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers-American Train Dispatchers Department in NMB Case Nos. R-6290, R-6291 and R-6293.
