Re: American Eagle Airlines and ALPA Reach Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board (NMB) is pleased to announce that the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) has ratified modifications to the current 16-year contract with American Eagle Airlines.

The negotiations between ALPA and the airline were the first to use the NMB’s online dispute resolution (ODR) technology in contract negotiations. Negotiations were facilitated by Senior Mediator Linda Puchala and Deputy Chief of Staff for ADR Development and Technology Daniel Rainey.

The next amendment round negotiations will be in 2008.
