Re: United Airlines and IAM Plan Further Meetings

Washington, D.C.--After four days of productive meetings in Chicago under the guidance of NMB Chief of Staff Stephen Crable and Mediator Rich Frey, United Air Lines and the International Association of Machinists (IAM) have temporarily adjourned their talks.

The NMB has scheduled further talks between United and IAM in the Board's Washington, D.C., offices on November 15 and 16, 2001.
