Re: Election Dates Announced for Delta Flight Attendants

The National Mediation Board has determined that the following procedures will apply in the election involving Delta's Flight Attendants, after an application seeking representation was filed by the Association of Flight Attendants.

Responding to concerns that flight attendants may have about mail received from Washington, DC, the ballots will be mailed on December 7, 2001 from the Board's Offices in Chicago, IL. The ballots will be returned to a specially designated post office box in Chicago, IL. Only Board staff will have access to the ballot materials. The ballot count will take place at the Board's offices in Washington, DC at 11:00 am, EST, Friday, February 1, 2002
