Re: Alaska Airlines and IAM Service Agents Reach Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board is pleased to announce that Alaska Airlines and the International Association of Machinists (IAM) reached a tentative collective bargaining agreement on October 28, 2003, covering the craft or class of Service Agents. Mediation was guided by Mediator Denise Hedges and Senior Mediator Linda Puchala.

The agreement is subject to union member ratification. Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
