Re: Horizon Airlines and AFA Reach Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board is pleased to announce that Horizon Airlines and the Association of Flight Attendants (AFA) reached a tentative contract agreement on October 17, 2003, using facilitated Interest-based bargaining (IBB). Facilitation was guided by Mediator Sam Cognata.

The agreement, covering the craft or class of Flight Attendants, is subject to union member ratification. Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
