Re: UPS/IBT Contract Ratified

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board is pleased to announce that a tentative contract agreement involving United Parcel Service (UPS) and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) has been ratified by 60.3 % of union members.

The agreement covers the craft or class of Mechanics and Related Employees. The tentative agreement was mediated by NMB Mediator Fred Leif and Deputy Chief of Staff Larry Gibbons.

Specific information regarding the contract should be obtained directly from the parties.
