Re: UPS/IBT Reach Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C.: The National Mediation Board is pleased to announce that United Parcel Service (UPS) and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), reached a tentative agreement today covering the craft or class of Mechanics and Related Employees. The negotiations were conducted with the assistance of Mediator Fred Leif and Deputy Chief of Staff Larry Gibbons.

The agreement is subject to union member ratification. Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
