Re: PATH and RITU Reach Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board (NMB) is pleased to announce that the Railway Independent Transit Union (RITU) reached a tentative collective bargaining agreement with the Port Authority Trans Hudson Railway (PATH) on September 2, 2004, covering the crafts and classes of General Maintainers, Apprentice, Car Inspector, Machinist, Car Repairman, Electrician, and Electronic Specialist. Mediation was guided by NMB Mediator Zachery Jones.

Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
