Re: UPS/IBT Meeting

Washington, D.C.: The National Mediation Board confirmed today that United Parcel Service (UPS) and its mechanics, represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), met for two days this week in Washington, D.C., to exchange proposals.

The parties will reconvene in Washington on August 12, 2002, to continue mediation.
