Re:  NMB to Address NARR Arbitrators

Washington, D.C. — Officials of the National Mediation Board (NMB) are scheduled to address the National Association of Railroad Referees (NARR) in Chicago on Friday, September 21, 2012. Representing the Board will be Chairman Harry Hoglander, Member Linda Puchala, Chief of Staff Daniel Rainey, and Director of Arbitration Services, Roland Watkins.

The National Association of Railroad Referees is an association of arbitrators that decide labor-management disputes and otherwise promote arbitration in the railroad industry.

The National Mediation Board is an independent Federal agency established by the Railway Labor Act, which governs labor-management relations of around 500 railroads and 100 airlines in the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and the US territories.
