Re: SEPTA and BMWE Reach Tentative Agreement

The National Mediation Board is pleased to announce that the Southeastern Transportation Authority (SEPTA) and the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees (BMWE), working with NMB Mediator Rich Frey, reached a tentative contract agreement on July 23, 2002, covering the craft or class of maintenance of way employees.

This agreement is subject to union membership ratification. Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
