Re: World Airways and IBT Reach Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board is pleased to announce that World Airways and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) reached a tentative contract agreement on July 24, 2003, covering the craft or class of Flight Attendants. Mediation was guided by NMB Senior Mediator Patricia Sims and Mediators Denise Hedges and Rich Frey.

The agreement is subject to union member ratification. Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
