Re: Island Air and IBT Reach Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board is pleased to announce that Island Air and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) reached a tentative contract agreement on July 14, 2003, covering the craft or class of Fleet and Passenger Service. Mediation was guided by NMB Mediator John Livingood and Senior Mediator Les Parmelee.

The agreement is subject to union member ratification. Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
