Re: The TCU and TWU Reach Tentative Agreement with New Jersey Transit

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board (NMB) is pleased to announce that a tentative collective bargaining agreement was reached on June 19, 2007, between the New Jersey Transit and two unions representing the craft and class of Carmen: the Transportation Communications International Union (TCU) and the Transport Workers Union of America (TWU).

Mediation was guided by NMB Mediator John Livingood.

Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
