Re: The Soo Line Railroad and BRC reach Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board (NMB) is pleased to announce that a tentative collective bargaining agreement was reached on May 29, 2008, between the Soo Line Railroad and the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen (BRC), a division of the Transportation Communications International Union (TCU), representing the craft and class of Carmen.

Mediation was guided by NMB Mediators Dick Hanusz and Denise Hedges and Senior Mediator Zachery Jones.

Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
