RE: Trans States Airlines - ALPA Reach a Tentative Agreement

NMB Member Francis J. Duggan confirmed that a tentative agreement was reached late Friday, May 26 in a collective bargaining dispute between Trans States Airlines and its pilots represented by the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA). The negotiating committees for the union and the carrier had been meeting in Washington, D.C. since the previous Tuesday under the supervision of Member Duggan and with the assistance of Senior Mediator Jack Bavis and Mediator Rich Frey. Details of the agreement are being withheld pending final approval by the involved employees. The carrier is based in St. Louis, Missouri and operates regional feeder service for United Airlines, TWA, US Airways, Northwest and Alaska Airlines under the respective commuter brands.
