Re: Rochester Southern Railroad and UTU Reach Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board (NMB) is pleased to announce that the Rochester Southern Railroad and the United Transportation Union (UTU) reached a tentative contract agreement on May 26, 2004, covering the craft or class of Train and Engine Service. Mediation was guided by NMB Mediator Dick Hanusz.

The agreement is subject to union member ratification. Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
