Re: Toledo, Peoria and Western Railroad and UTU Reach Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board is pleased to announce that the Toledo, Peoria and Western Railroad and the United Transportation Union (UTU) reached a tentative contract agreement on April 25, 2003, covering the craft or class of Trainmen, Engineers and Carmen. Mediation was guided by Mediators Denise Hedges and Sam Cognata.

The agreement is subject to union member ratification. BM_1_Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
