Re:  PARN and the IBT Reach Agreement

Washington, D.C. — The National Mediation Board (NMB) is pleased to announce that Pacific and Arctic Railway & Navigation Company (PARN) and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 959 reached a tentative Collective Bargaining Agreement on March 29, 2012, covering the combined crafts and classes of Shop Crafts and Maintenance of Way employees. PARN is also known as the White Pass Railroad.

Mediation was guided by NMB Mediator Walter Darr.

Specific information regarding the contract and its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
