Re: American Airlines and APA Reach Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board is pleased to announce that American Airlines and the Allied Pilots Association (APA) reached a tentative contract agreement on Monday, March 31, 2003, covering the craft or class of Pilots. Mediation was guided by Senior Mediator Les Parmelee, Mediator Zachery Jones, and Board Member Edward Fitzmaurice.

The agreement is subject to union member ratification. Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
