Re: America West and IBT Reach Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board is pleased to announce that America West Airlines and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) reached a tentative contract agreement on March 22, 2003, covering the craft or class of Stock Clerks. Union membership subsequently ratified the agreement on April 1, 2003. Mediation was guided by Mediators Denise Hedges and Brad Laslett.

Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
