Re:  Air Tran and AFA Reach Agreement

Washington, D.C. — The National Mediation Board (NMB) is pleased to announce that on March 22, 2011, Air Tran Airways and AFA (Association of Flight Attendants) reached a tentative collective bargaining agreement, covering the craft and classes of Flight Attendants.

Mediation was guided by NMB Mediator Jack Kane.

The tentative agreement, amendable after April 30, 2013, is for a two year term. Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
