Re: The UTU and South Buffalo Railway reach Tentative Agreement

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board (NMB) is pleased to announce that a tentative collective bargaining agreement was reached on March 16, 2007, between South Buffalo Railway and the United Transportation Union (UTU) representing the craft and class of Conductors (Yardmen).

Mediation was guided by NMB Mediator John Livingood.

The agreement is subject to union ratification. Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
