Re: Kansas City Southern and BMWE Tentative Agreements Ratified

Washington, D.C. -- The National Mediation Board is pleased to announce that two tentative agreements between Kansas City Southern (South and Mid-South) and the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees (BMWE) have been ratified.

Mediation began in August 2001, and was guided by Mediator Dick Hanusz and Senior Mediator Larry Gibbons.

Specific information regarding the contract or its provisions should be obtained directly from the parties.
