Open Government - National Mediation Board

President Obama’s Open Government Directive of December 8, 2009, requires Federal executive departments and agencies to take specific actions to implement the principles of Transparency, Participation, and Collaboration as described below.


President’s Directive About the NMB NMB Open Government Plan

Participation: Allows the public to contribute ideas and expertise to government policy making. This includes Key Contacts at the NMB, avenues for Public Dialog, and NMB Programs, Training and Technologies.
Transparency: Provides useful information and data about what the Government is doing. This includes What’s New at the NMB and links to key agency data.
Collaboration: Describes partnerships and cooperative efforts within the Federal Government, across levels of government, and between the Government and private institutions.
Other NMB Web Pages: These pages include required Congressional Correspondence, NMB Records Management, and Freedom of Information (FOIA) pages and related other links.
