Andy joined the National Mediation Board in August, 2011, as a Mediator.

Prior to joining the Board, he served as the Negotiating Committee Chairman for the pilots of American Eagle Airlines for 9 years and served on numerous other national committees of the Air Line Pilots Association.

Before becoming an airline pilot and labor advocate, Andy was an Engineer and Project Manager for several start-up companies in the medical device industry. He also worked as an Engineering Consultant, developing avionics and medical device prototypes.

Mediator Nordgren graduated from Lehigh University in 1986 with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
