Ms. LoValerie Mullins joined the agency’s Office of Mediation Services on June 20, 2011, as Mediator-ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution). In this capacity, she assists the Senior Mediator of ADR in the development and delivery of ADR services and training programs to labor-management parties in the airline and railroad industries and internally to NMB staff.

LoValerie brings to the agency’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program seven years of training and experience in mediating cases, and in coaching legal professionals and organizations, using a variety of conciliation methods and techniques to include interest-based and grievance mediation, facilitation, team-building and negotiation skills-building. She has published articles in the workplace and natural resource mediation fields.

Ms. Mullins earned her Juris Doctor from the Appalachian School of Law and an LL.M. degree from the University of Missouri’s Dispute Resolution Program. Additionally, she is certified as both a Workplace/Federal Workplace and Commercial Mediator.
