Zachery M. Jones joined the National Mediation Board in August 2000 as a Mediator. He is currently a Senior Mediator responsible for supervision of assigned staff mediators and the administration of mediation and ADR cases. He also remains active as a mediator in the airline and railroad industries and as a trainer and facilitator in ADR cases.

Prior to joining the Board, Mr. Jones was an Assistant Professor of Business Law at the Howard University School of Business. He also worked as of-counsel with the firm of Popham, Haik, Schnobrich, & Kaufman, in Washington, D.C., where he was engaged in the practice of employment law as the Chair of the firm's Sports and Entertainment Practice Group. Earlier, he had been a sales representative with the Norfolk Southern Corporation.

Mr. Jones earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from Loyola University of Chicago. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Howard University.
